Just in-case anyone else missed it... we now drink on General Vo Nguyen Giap Street. On December 12, the eight meeting of Da Nang city People’s Council (tenure VIII) approved the plan to name and rename streets in the city. At the meeting, the Standing Committee Da Nang city People’s Committee proposed the way to name street General Vo Nguyen Giap, which connects Hoang Sa and Truong Sa roads, starts from Nguyen Huy Chuong street and extending an additional two kilometers to Minh Mang street. Accordingly, General Vo Nguyen Giap street will be 7,340 metres in length, connecting Hoang Sa and Truong Sa roads, and passing two districts of Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son./.
