Just in case this story has made it to the McKenzie area... For those who have heard that there had been a shooting at Taco Bell around 11:30 this morning (Friday Jan 2nd ), there was NO shooting. WMUF contacted the Paris Police Department at approximately 11:40 am and after speaking with dispatch, who in turned responded to this inquiry by saying, there was NO shooting at Taco Bell this morning, when the call came into dispatch, officers responded to find out there was a verbal altercation to where someone thought they seen a gun. Officers were given permission to search the vehicles and persons involved and no gun was found in either area. Just wanted to let you know that WMUF was on top of the situation and wanted to share it with our listeners. Have a great day!!!
