Just in case yall wondered (which yall most likely dont give a raptor poop), we are currently in the Holocene epoch, of the Quaternary period, of the Cenozoic era, of the Phanerozoic eon. You probably never knew any of that, but thats the official identification of the geological time frame we live in today. For comparison, only in the last epoch (the shortest duration of the four durations mentioned above) did humans first pop up.
