Just last Tuesday I went to the Healing Spirits Open House and was so thrilled to see all the energy and enthusiasm of prospective and enrolled students that were scheduled to start their session next month. I was looking forward to assistant teaching in this building. Three days later, the very building in which I essentially felt like I was reborn three years ago has toppled in the flood. Of course I have thought about my massage office off 55th and Pearl and the Bodywork Bistro on Spruce, and wondered what I will return to when I get down to see, but seeing 100 Arapahoe fall feels very close to me. Deeply saddened, wondering how this will demand our flexibility and ability to adapt to change in the coming months.
