Just last night I was lamenting to Bridget Mattson about how heartbroken I am to have missed Ketchikans Jazz and Cabaret due to our lengthy vacation. I was happily surprised when she filled me in that on both nights of the concert they observed a full hour of silence in my honor and the Ted Ferry Civic Center was decorated with life size cut out posters of me. Amanda Glanzer informed me that everyone was in tears missing me so much and could hardly sing. Apparently everyone was so torn up with me not being there that the show was nearly cancelled. Of course I was delighted to hear this news yet glad they somehow mustered the strength to carry on. I am thankful to live in such a brave community that is so devoted to their Diva even though she has gone AWOL for a few weeks. In all seriousness now, We have had an awesome time on our trip, first with Toms family and now with mine. I will share more later! XOXOX! :)
