Just learned of the recent passing of New Orleans music legend - no, make that Rock n Roll music legend - Cosimo Matassa. In operating J&M Recording Studio he helped give the world Little Richard, Fats Domino, Ray Charles, Dr. John, and a whole host of others. I had the great pleasure of being part of a group dinner with this fine and very funny gentleman several years ago in New Orleans.
