Just left CVMC after visiting with Steve & Jane Garris. I was fortunate to arrive in time to join the family as they met with the doctor and viewed the Heart Cath. Steve had a 99% blocked artery on the back side of his heart. They put a stent in and opened it up. He also has an artery on the front side which has a 50% blockage. They decided to wait on that one and Steve will visit the doctor in two weeks to decide what the next steps will be, most likely a stress test. For now, he is recovering well and even his color has improved. He should be released from the hospital either tomorrow or Thursday. He is currently in ICU, so visitors must be held to a minimum. Please, continue to pray for him and the family.
