Just left the doctors office and I must say Im surprised. I just met with the kindest, most caring Nurse Practitioner I have ever met. I have had several bad experiences with finding good family care and after today I am fully confident that I have found someone who sincerely cares about me as a patient and wants the satisfaction of seeing my health improve. Its nice to know that there are really great, loving people in our healthcare systems. She was very concerned with the fact that Ive been sick for 3 and a half weeks and told me not to worry because WE were on the road to recovery and that she would call and check on me tomorrow. That made me feel so much better! With that being said, I have a double ear infection on top of everything.., still waiting for strep test or to see if the blisters are just viral....Tomorrow I go in for the whole sha-bang.. Blood work for mono, checking my liver, kidneys, blood cell count, basically a clean sweep to make sure that theres nothing crazy going on. And to see if this stuff is viral or bacterial. I havent been sick all year so Im just gonna blame this on me slacking on my greens. Never again will I do that! Time gear up and get my killer immune system back! Thanks everyone for the prayers. I felt like today was a huge turning point!
