Just like last year, I have heard several complaints such as this one sent to me by an angry parent: I am currently incensed at the high schools policy on homecoming dance tickets. They have these kids in school five days a week yet are making them stand outside in weather in October on a Sunday night to purchase tickets. If they cannot make it that night they have to trust someone else with their student ID to purchase tickets and if they cannot arrange to get tickets on that one Sunday they are penalized $10 more to purchase them in school the next day. I called the school and at present they are inflexible with this and I am awaiting a return call from the principal. I just do not understand why this has to be so difficult. Have the student council or the homecoming committee set up a table and man it during lunch time to sell these tickets to the kids! I have to agree with this parent and others who have the same complaint. Why does this have to be so hard, and why cant it be handled during school hours???? What are your thoughts?
