Just like that...Braden has some GVHD showing up. It looks like eczema and his very itchy. GVHD is Graft vs Host disease and its his body fighting Zachs cells. We are heading in to get some prescription cream for it to stop the itching. We do NOT want this to get worse but its actually a good thing. Kids that have more success with engraftment have a little GVHD. Key is LITTLE. We want to come home next Monday so we need to hope and pray that it remains a LITTLE. We go to clinic tomorrow, they will run the chimerism study (to see how much of his bone marrow is Z-Force), look at his GVHD and once we have results will tell us if we can come home. In the meantime, I tentatively have the angel flight home booked for Monday. We need thoughts and prayers the study comes back favorable and the GVHD is manageable. HOPE!
