Just like that.. IT system migration is bringing a revered Filipino brand to its knees with 72 stores closed. Millions (more like billions) of pesos in goodwill lost. Here are some numbers from Rappler: - Loses: Php 180 Million PER DAY! - P 500 Million paid for a new IT system - Customer-brand relationship, competitors jumping to take advantage of this fiasco, loss of confidence by some investors (mismanagement or mishandling of the entire IT project...decisions made form the top), etc.... a lot of stuff we cannot easily quantify. Lots of lessons to be learned (so we dont make the same mistake again). EVEN THE BIGGEST , THE LARGEST , OLDEST , GREATEST FALL . One FOOL FOOLS AROUND , THE GREAT WALL FALL!!!!!
