Just looking at the rules for the NTMA metal Crunch events and its brought up a question. So far as I know LiPos are the only chemistry that can supply enough ampage to Brushless motors for them to not be at risk of damage and overheating/fire. Given LiPos are not allowed are any of the allowed chemistries (see below) capable of running a brushless motor? Note 6.1: Hawkers, NiCad, NiMh, dry cells, AGM, LiIon, and LifePo4
