Just made tacos for dinner. Blitzed heaps of vegies in a food processor including celery, carrot, zucchini, capsicum, a fresh baby beetroot, then added the meat. Only problem was when I fried up the meat I couldnt tell if it was browned or not cause it was still RED from the beetroot. haha. Can anyone suggest a from scratch spice mix for tacos. I used one of those evil taco seasoning mixes, but Im sure they are full of nasties.
