Just my thoughts admin, hope you post. I ride the lrt everyday going to school and back. I see students from different schools everyday. Not to be judgemental but some of these students look rich some of them look poor. I imagine myself studying in their respective schools and think what would i be if i studied there? One example would be the PUP students i see. I heard the tuition is cheap. Especially compared to San Beda. However i also heard that the quality of education is very good as well. Also the UP students and UST students and all the other students coming from schools that have cheaper tuition than us Bedans. Then i ask myself again why is san beda so expensive!? What makes San Beda so special that it has to charge over 60k per semester???? Because i know damn well that i can get a better education for cheaper. Im not bashing our school and saying that it is bad, i am just protesting the tuition to education ratio. What causes San Beda to be so expensive? Is it the education? I dont think so. Is it the facilities? Definitely not. I think it is the athlete program that it has. Did you know that over P10M was spent on the food alone of the athletes last year? What about the non athletes that pay full tuition? Are we partially feeding and educating these athletes? No disrespect to them, i have the highest respect for the discipline and level of skills they possess. However back to the topic at hand, ITS TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE IN SAN BEDA. THE PRICE OF TUITION OF A SCHOOL SHOULD DEPEND ON THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IT GIVES. NOT ON HOW FACILITIES IT HAS. Just my two cents admin. Please post.
