Just my two cents. Its rather disappointing to see someone so renowned in Kuching to misuse the social media to make shame of a lot of local models. I agree with them on certain points between a good and bad model. Yes, some of the models did not went thru proper modelling training before they are exposed to the industry. Theres a lot more for them to learn, however please do identify which academy in Kuching offers professional modelling training? To my knowledge, there is absolutely NONE. There is an academy that offers so called modelling training, however, one question is, how professional are they? Are they model or pageant? If the person is exposed enough in the modelling industry, they would have know the difference. If they dont, I have absolutely no comment. The models tried their best to showcase, and I sincerely believe they can be much more better than now if they have someone professional enough in the MODELLING industry to guide them. As about the grooming, its the choice of the organizer to make the decision. As a professional model etiquette, they should not be complaining on the styling. Apart from that, a professional, one should not be criticising even if they are popular or well known in the industry. They should be helping out instead of exposing them to shame. I have seen some models trying to make a name for themselves by being a so called teacher to teach catwalk. I have seen their catwalk, there is absolutely nothing to hoo-haa about. And morever, whats the renowned show in Malaysia that they have participated in? Please reflect your experience in the industry before you criticise them in public. Its rather disappointing for someone well known like them to criticise people in public, and its not like they offended you. Try to get your so called standard model instead of the sub standard one to go on the runway and you will see the difference. Popularity plays a part in modelling industry. Its rather sad to see negative criticism instead of positive critism especially in such a social media like Facebook. It looks more like they are trying to get business for themselves. But why arent they getting it? Think about it instead of complaining about the industry. Theres a difference between just a pageant and professional model. Some can perform best at both and some cant without proper guidance.
