Just need to shout....GODS TIMING IS AMAZING!!! Actually, amazing doesnt even begin to cover this. **Yesterday, was a meh day for our family. Many of you know why. **As many of you know how much I, Lorne, Adam, Rachel, and Tiffany went through four years of expensive turmoil because of my ex-husband, you will appreciate this testimony. **I ran into him, my ex, yesterday. It was very brief but, long enough for me to offer him a few selected words. Yes, my Mama Bear mode was already kickin hard because of a recent hurt one of my babies has gone through. Thank God for the privilege and gift of repentance. **Also, yesterday, at a local retail store, I ran into his youngest daughter, from a precious marriage, who is employed at this particular store the girls and I shop frequently. I was alone and of course, she recognized me. My heart sank into my stomach. She asked, Do you know who I am. I sincerely stated, Yes, sweetie, I do. We briefly hugged and she asked about the kids. After a brief conversation, as she was ringing up my purchase, we hugged again and I then walked out. I got in my car trembling. (As I said before, many of you know why). I looked up at the heavens and stated, This is not even funny. Why, Lord, why? **We all continued on our day as many of you saw all of my FB post yesterday. Yes, I was in Mama Bear mode. Again, thank God for repentance on this new day. **This morning, after dropping Tiffany off at work, I had to go exchange a shirt, at the store I purchased it from yesterday. I felt comfortable enough to know I might have to just face her again and with The Lord as my helper I could do it. Well, she was working and handled my return. **After the transaction was over, she asked a co-worker to take over for a minute. She then asked me to walk outside with her and then quickly hugged me so tight and tears were flowing down her face. After she told me a few things he, my ex, has put her, his oldest daughter, his grandchildren and their mother through, she then stated, Mrs. Christine, I am so sorry for all the years of trouble my Daddy caused you and my half-siblings and I believed him. I was a fool and should have known better after the way you would take care of us when we would come for visitation when you were married to him. I have very good memories of you as my step-mom and Im so sorry I believed his lies about you. After seeing you yesterday and how you were so sincerely nice to me I knew you were the bigger person. I prayed last night that I would have an opportunity to run into you again when God saw fit so I could take the time to tell you how sorry I am that my Daddy caused you so much trouble for so many years. I know now it was all him and not you. Im not asking to get to know you better or even meet the kids, that is up to you. Me and my sister no longer have anything to do with him and he will NEVER see his grandchildren again. DNA means nothing to us. Blood does not mean you are family. This only proves to me that even your family will not be there for you. He deserved everything he got when you had enough of his mess and you hired the nastiest, most expensive, family attorney in Lake Charles. Im just sorry it had to go that far. **She stated more about the things he has done over the years (I wasnt, in the least, shocked) but, Im going to stop here. I took the opportunity to hug her again and whisper, to her, a prayer of strength and peace to move on from the toxic relationship she has with her parent. This strength and peace, they need, can only come from God to deal with this man she calls Daddy. I know her pain all too well :( **I am so thankful for the strength and opportunity God gave me. I have been waiting for some sort of validation for 17 years and it all happened within in 24 hours. Just like that! JUST LIKE THAT, GOD IS GOOD! RECOGNIZE THE OPPORTUNITY HE GIVES YOU AND TAKE IT OR YOU MAY NEVER HAVE IT AGAIN. He trusted me enough to open that door and for that I am grateful.
