Just needing advice, my fiancé and I bought a bbq from home hardware in northam that we paid $159 for only to find out that it doesnt work, we were told someone would be coming over today with a replacement from their store, which didnt happen, have now been told that they dont do refunds probably wont get a replacement either, have been blamed for damaging it, have also been told that I would have to bring it into the store so that they can look at it, dont have a way to get it into the store, have also been told that if they do decide to replace it we will have to wait months for a replacement, they also said that none of their staff come out to peoples places, if that is so why did they deliver the gas bottle and why did someone come out on Friday and said he would be back today, I was also told to ring back on Monday to see if one of their staff would come out to pick up the bbq, dont know what I should believe, thinking I should just chuck the bbq out, can someone please give me advice, feeling frustrated and annoyed, all we want is to be able to have a working bbq especially for Australia day, hope I am not whinging to much.
