Just now: (Knock on the door) I open the door to see a young policeman Me: Yes? Police: Someone called 9/11? Me: No Police: Do you have kids? Maybe someone called on accident. Me: Yeah, that might be it. I have a bunch of kids here, sorry. Police: Everything okay? Me: Yeah, were all fine. Police: Mind if I come in and take a look around? Me: Yes, I mind. You dont need to come in and look around. Police: Why dont you want me to look around? Me: Because I told you were all okay. Ive got a house full of teenagers. And its my constitutional right to not let you inside my house. Police: Okay, you want to get me your ID? Me: No, you dont need to see my ID. Police: I just need to check to see if youre the person who lives here. Me: I assure you that Im the renter. I live here. Police: Well I need to check your ID to see if it has the same address. Me: NO you dont. Besides, I just moved here and havent changed my address yet. Police: Well, Im just checking to make sure everything is okay. Me: I appreciate that. But I still am not going to show you my ID. Exit Policeman from scene.
