Just now in Harriman..people in a dark blue suburban going around through the neighborhood going door to door saying they are demonstrating kirby vacuum cleaners. They are NOT in business clothes the woman did not have a name tag. She had her hand over some orange flyers but did not offer one. Her sales pitch was she wanted to come in and show the cleaner she wasnt selling them she just wanted to get the Kirby name back out there. There were 2 guys in the vehicle and they did not pull up to the house they stayed down the street. I found the whole thing unnerving.I sure wasnt going to let them into my home to look around. Just wanted to pass this along. I also called dispatch and noone had registered or told them they were door to door selling vacuums and most contractors and companies will let local dispatch know so when people report this they can reassure people it is legitimate.
