Just now leaving work at 1:05 a.m.. A long shift with much to do but very satisfying. Had an opportunity to visit with the emergency receptionist. Her husband is the chairman of the music department at Northwestern College in Orange City Iowa. As we talked I learned that she was working on her doctorate in music I told her that I had taught music and have played professionally. When she asked me what instrument and I told her trumpet her face lit up and she said please write down your name address and phone number because my husband is looking for a part time trumpet instructor very possibly second semester. Nothing definite but it could be some extra added income which would be very nice.
