Just one example of how appalling it can be for animals to be kept in captivity. I agree with caring for animals within a secure and healthy environment, but this is horrific, and yet, people are so ignorant to the awful truth behind it all. We take our children to aquariums and zoos and give them the idea that its okay for defenceless animals to be locked up behind glass or cages, waiting to be fed by another because they dont get the chance to experience actually being the animal they were born as. I find it so distressing to know that there are so many weak and hurt animals around the world suffering because of the selfish nature of the human species. And, despite our efforts to help save the worlds animals, who have aided us in transport, hunting, and friendship, we still have the indecency to completely ignore the fact that beasts, classed as human beings, are destroying the world we were all brought into, and are slaughtering and beating beautiful creatures that havent the concept of right and wrong. This must be put to and end, and only we can stop these atrocities.
