Just one week to go...this time next week the Club Awards dinner will be in full swing. The DVDs have gone into production this morning, the seating plans and room plans have been drawn up and printed along with the table names (and hopefully David Dodsworth has managed to print the place name cards). I have just run through the features (that will be on the DVD which will be sold to raise money for Alex Dowsetts haemophilia charity) and the laptop has held up. The Movistar signed Jersey that we plan to raffle as a kind of lottery prize) for the same has now been acquired. The last thing to do is finish the presentation (still work-in-progress) and hopefully Doddy has the engraving in hand, Then on Saturday the crew will assemble at 9:30 to begin set-up (and at the same time, start to prepare for the 2016 club dinner - yes 2016) Is it going to be a good night? I hear you ask. Its a Maldon & District Cycling Club event, of course it will be - in fact (a the risk of blowing our own trumpet) it just might be one of our best yet! But if you are attending then you can be the judge. Confident? Confident!
