Just out of curiosity I was peeing inside wiki on the rape issues all over the world.. and strangely found contrary to common opinion, according to the rape statistics provided by wiki.. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_statistics) the situation in india is not bad .. rather its promising considering its vastness and ungoverned situation.. but as always there is a scope of improvement... again when situation is already not so bad comparing to developed nations (or any other nations), if we have to improve further.. there we need some fundamental changes in the social thought process.. Any quantum jump in a larger scale is only possible with an implementation of proper process over a siginificant time period.. just like reservation has significantly decreased the caste issues/financial anomalies over last 3-4 decades in India compared to before...
