Just out of curiosity, will any of you crafty types be joining in The (Secret) Toy Society Christmas Drop? If you dont what it is, it started as a street art project in Australia, and grew to be a world wide phenomenon where people make toys (sewn, crocheted, knitted- whatever) and place them in public to be found by strangers. The Christmas Drop, as the name suggests, is an organised effort to have a load of toys placed the weekend before Christmas. Check out the website- they post all the drops registered and there are a lot of posts from people who find the toys, some of the stories are really cool, like an Autistic boy who found a drop on his way to an appointment and thought someone had left him a surprise birthday present!
