Just over 3 weeks before LBA Basketball tryouts start. I highly recommend the following running conditioning program. You only need a basketball court or 96 ft. Up and back counts for 2. 6 forward sprints, so that is 3 times up and back. 6 running backward sprints. 6 suicides. 6 suicides sprint forward and then backpedal to each you passed. 6 2-steps change direction. 6 Slide to first line, sprint to half court, slide to 3/4 court, sprint to baseline. This should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you are done with that get a basketball and then dribble basketball 6 times full court full speed. 6 suicides dribbling basketball. 6 2-steps change direction dribbling full court. This should take about 10-15 minutes. Total time for all this is about 25-35 minutes. All basketball players trying out this season needs to do this running and dribbling. 3-5 times a week. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED doing all this running.
