Just over 5000 individuals own $635 billion worth in Canada. Under Liberal and Conservative governments, the number keeps growing. This amount of money is hard conceptualize so lets put it into perspective another way: - Its enough to solve our housing crisis 100 times over. - Its enough to lift every senior out of poverty for the next 500 years. - Its 20 times the profit of Canadas big banks. - Its the equivalent of a minimum wage salary for every man, woman, and child in Canada. - Its four times the entire infrastructure deficit faced by our cities And its grotesque that this wealth keeps growing, while our government cries poor, and cuts services to veterans, and makes families feel grateful for the crumbs of the childcare credits. We need a government that fights for workers not the elite who aim to divide us.
