Maybe that attitude is normal for you, but if only you could consider LiteDave [and even Me !? ] as Your partners on the Truth Team, and notice that what one proposes is a *possibility* to be looked at. When a possibility is advanced, it becomes a hypothesis. What there is to do next [for people of science] is to marshall the evidence pro or con. Specifically, I would note that Japan did this and Japan did that begs for a reference to what the word Japan means. Are the hundreds of thousands of Japanese people who died after the two A-bombs to be identified as Japan and therefore doomed to die and linger with radiation sickness because of the actions of soldiers who had been programmed by an insane emperor? Are we really going to defend the mass slaughter of non-combatants for political aims? copy to LiteDave in case he does not bother to come back here and cast his pearls before swine. And if anyone feels insulted by that, then let him consider the inner meaning of the parable spoken by the great teacher, Jesus. Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. (Matthew 7:6). Of course, these words of Jesus are allegorical. I doubt that any were literally casting pearls before swine. The meaning is pretty simple to figure out; Do not persist in offering what is sacred or of value to those who have no appreciation for it, because your gift will not only become contaminated and be despised, your generous efforts could also be rebuffed and perhaps even openly attacked. Finally, let me invite each one of us to review this hour-long opening up of the awareness of the superstitions in which we believe.
