Just read a great write up today on a good friend of mine and amazing musician Mike Parshall. You may know him as Sax on the Beach. I have always enjoyed any time I get to spend with him, and on the rare occasions I get to jam with him I am honored. He is really top shelf as a person and a musician. However today while reading the article, I found another quality of Mike I just love, hes not a boaster. I have known him for several years and NEVER has he mentioned to me his time in L.A. playing with some pretty well known musicians, like James Taylor just to throw one out, since he wont. Seems a lot of people are falling over themselves to tell you who they were or who they played with, this is really refreshing!! If you havent seen the write up in the Sun today, check it out. And if you havent seen Mike play live, definitely plan on checking him out somewhere, hes awesome.
