Just read a letter to the editor from someone I used to consider a friend. She was making claims that Israel wants all the land and she knows this because of a recent trip she took to Palestine sponsored by Liberal U.S. Jews. As a Liberal U.S. Jew I didnt know whether to laugh or cry at her lack of awareness of the goals of the Israeli government or the wishes of the average citizen to live in peace with their neighbors. But the saddest part of this post was the majority of written responses and sarcasm theyre Gods chosen people from people commenting on her letter. Such anger! I wonder how those who are so angry would feel if their children were threatened every day by people whose sole goal was to wipe out your country from the mountains to the sea?
