Just read a story where a Texas lady, who was a hard working waitress with no transportation to work, had to catch a bus everyday in a crime ridden area of town to get there. She knew it was a high crime area and so she kept her pistol in her purse just in case something might happen. Well it just so happened that she had to work a late shift one night and while waiting alone for the bus to arrive a purse snatcher came upon her. She had her hand on the pistol inside of her purse and just as she was about to be attacked she unloaded the revolver shooting her attacker six times. Because of the politics of the times her case went before a court where she testified before it. When asked why she shot her assailant six times her response was, Because after the sixth shot the gun went click, click, click! She was acquitted.
