Just read an article about the Selfhelp Home in Chicago which was started in the 1930s for Central European Jewish refugees. At one time there were hundreds of people, but there are only 12 remaining Halocaust refugees. They found comfort living with and helping each other because no one else could understand the horrors they survived. An 85 year old man who lost his entire family said, By Gods sake Im still alive, God helped me. I believe in God. To me, this is a humble and thankful person. In our country, its hard to believe people have trouble finding something in their lives to be thankful to God for.
