Just realized this week marks 5 years since I took in my first ever foster. Justin was a puppy mill Labradoodle. Molly dropped him off with me and he was covered in thousands of ticks. The first night I had him was the same night I was going to see a P!nk concert, so poor baby had to stay in a crate in our garage (no it was not hot and it was a heck of a lot better than where he was at). When we got home from the concert, we saw hundreds of little ticks crawling on the wall and floor where his crate was. It was the stuff of nightmares. The next day, he went to the vet where he spent two full days as they worked to get all the ticks off him. Fast forward a month, Justin is adopted by an executive with TI. He now lives in Switzerland with his family and they take him everywhere, hiking in the Alps, into Germany to hang out for the day, even on vacation with them. This is my #tbt :)
