Just received a call from Department of Legal Affairs stating that - TopicsExpress

Just received a call from Department of Legal Affairs stating that an arrest warrant was being issued, that I was a criminal because of tax fraud, and to get a good criminal attorney. They then offered for me to pay THEM to resolve this. When I told them that I knew this was a scam, they said they were sending the police to my door now. I told them I would be waiting at the door and I had recorded our conversation. They hung up. I called them back. They answered with We have already talked with you. What do you want? 1. You can try to sell me anything you want. I can say no. But DO NOT call me a criminal and try to bully me and threaten me! 2. If you are going to try and represent yourself as a government agency, you might want to learn proper grammar and spell check your speech. 3. If I call you back and you are a legitimate business, you do not answer a potential client with What do you want? 4. If you put as much effort and time in a real job as you do at scamming people, we would not have the problems in this country that we do. 5. I know better and am not afraid to stand up to this BS, but there are people who dont. They will succumb to the bullying and threats. If the caller wont send you a certified letter and they hang up when you tell them that you are recording the conversation, then it is a SCAM!
