Just received a call from my Grandson James who is in the Marines, tomorrow he is being deployed to the Philippines to help with humanitarian aid. I am reminded of his compassionate heart and his eagerness to help others, when he graduated from pre-kinder at the age of 4 or 5 he was chosen to help a fellow student walk up the aisle, I remember the sweet smile on his face as he held his hand and tears rolling down my face, so I am both thankful and with a bit of apprehension as we cannot be there to light the way.. I feel very grateful for all who are reaching out to help in anyway they can those who are experiencing such loss and hardship..
