Just received a call from the single woman, who needs housing. Her outlook is improving, but still need prayers. The positive is that, she acted immediately get a job during the Holiday season and was able to keep it, then obtain a second job with benefits and potential for advancement. When you do, God will. Credit rating is still improving and assets are still in place and working to help her out of her situation. Car went down, but hopefully she can get assistance from one of the Churches in our area with the repair. The improvement in the credit rating and having had a vehicle with car insurance, makes her eligible to rent a car, as needed and can afford. I will continue to step in when she cannot afford it, to drive her. We must do all we can to assist each other. When a foreclosure occur, I feel the credit reporting agencies should look at the situation in terms of ( fault/no fault). If the individual lost their employment, or had medical problems (not their fault). Dont mess with their credit rating. A person gambled, or invested in the stock market ( poor judgement, their fault) rate them accordingly. They are high risk and cant be trusted, place some asterisk *****.on those individuals. Determinations, or ruling are not something that can be done without having a personal profile of the individual ie. talking to them. Just like, someone throwing out how much a person makes in determining how much of that they can afford on housing cost? Who come up with 3 times the amount of the monthly rent? Youll cut somewhere to meet the cost to keep a roof over your head. Some folk are more fugal than others. Who would have thought a cleaning woman in MS had millions at retirement age to give to a college fund? Computerized stats are not people and should not be used alone, to determine credit worthiness. Having three agencies reporting pretty much the same thing, doesnt say much either. Women are being denied a nice place to live, just because they are women, in my opinion. Especially, in my case. Too much money is spent attempting to determine what someone is going to do. Most are not able to balance their own budget and are making decision, which place barriers on good people.
