Just received a message letting me know that a FB conversation I was involved in became a part of somebodys Thesis for their Masters. Super Cool! And people say social media has no redemption. Hey Sean, I know you dont know me but Im a senior at ASU finishing up my Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication, and I actually based my entire senior thesis on this conversation we had a few months ago about the article, 5 reasons to date a girl with an eating disorder You were right, no contest. You embodied the amendment itself by challenging my popularly accepted idea in a way that contributed to both the marketplace of ideas, as well as helping me to develop my individual capacities. Id like to take a second to thank you for first-handedly cementing my grasp on the right to free expression and inspiring me to elucidate the full implications of the FA in our society in my thesis- which I hope will generate a better understanding of it for anyone who reads it.
