Just received an email from one of our tribal attorneys in D.C. Today, the House of Representatives is expected to vote on a bill to approve construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline. It appears the expedited scheduling of a vote is a move to help Republican Representative Bill Cassidy of Louisiana bolster his Senate chances. He is currently in a runoff election with Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu,the sponsor of idenitcal legislation on the Senate side. Get the horses ready! Paint your faces, fire up those battle songs, get the good shield...it begins again.
