Just registered for the Pay It Forward 5K, set for Saturday, Nov. 22, in Mooresville! I love this concept: Upon finishing, each runner will be given a water bottle containing $10 to $500 and encouraged to “pay it forward” -- by donating the money to a charity or helping someone in need. Apparently, lots of others are loving the idea, too: As of today, there are just 57 spots left (organizers are capping the race at 600 participants). Are you in?
