Just rescued this very pitiful senior pure bred Cocker Spaniel from the pound ... She has numerous medical needs: cherry eyes and dry eye syndrome in both eyes (one vet has already recommended having both eyes removed - she does not appear to have any vision - will get a second opinion) in addition to severe ear infections and she is HW positive. She came in so completely matted that the vets office decided to shave her down. She has numerous sores and scars. She is dealing with a fair amount of pain and, understandably, her spirit is pretty broken, as you can see in the pictures. She just wanted to be held.
