Just returned from a 1500 mile roadtrip to Beaufort, NC, to hang out with family, with a stop in Charleston, SC to visit Frans 91 year old Aunt Catherine. Had a great time, the most Ive driven in years. Listened to a LOT of satellite radio. Some random musings from the trip. THE GOOD - Beatles, Stones, Animals, most of Motown, Willie, Patsy, the harmonizers (Simon & Garfunkel; Mamas and Papas; Peter, Paul and Mary; Beachboys; Crosby, Stills and Nash; etc.), the mariachi horns in JCs Ring of Fire, craft beers, real grits, in-car navigation systems THE BAD - The rest of the British Invasion, Bobby Goldsboro, Monkees, Prius drivers lane discipline, paper mill smells THE UGLY - Bubblegum music, as perpetrated by studio bands such as the Archies and 1910 Fruitgum Company, Myrtle Beach
