Just returned from our father/son trip to Air Dales Johns Lake outpost and what can I say? It was almost the perfect trip! Johns is a truly great lake just teeming with fish and the facilities are outstanding. Not surprisingly for mid summer the pattern was mid lake humps and once we found them it was non stop fish. Crazy numbers of thick walleye in the 22-25 range with a few approaching 30! We also caught several large pike including two over 40. The largest was caught by my son on our last evening on what was our last cast of the trip. I have a ton of video and many more pictures which will be included in my full online report at the end of the week. Until then heres a teaser.
