Just returned home from an easy evening of volunteering for Yes on 92. Chances are good if youre a friend of mine you are no friend of Monsanto. Let me encourage you to go make some calls in favor of informed choice at the grocery store. The people at Oregon Right to Know are really nice, very grateful and there are lots of yummy GMO-free treats to enjoy while you help Oregonians understand why this issue is important. I couldnt even get to my shift on time and everybody was cool and generous. I spoke with 50 people in 90 minutes and it was quite genial. You dont have to be a registered voter to support this issue with your volunteer hours. A small amount of your time might be all it takes to make Oregon a leader in the fight against big Agra and food producers who would like to keep us in the dark about what we buy to eat.
