Just saw George Sanford Brown playing a lawyer on Castle. I remember the day he quit Taft H.S. in the Bronx to be a "star"! Also remember when he married Tyne Daly before bi-racial was okay (for thems that cared about the rules). It is just so terrific to see someone you grew up with looking so great at our age. Woe, for a minute I was a teenager again and I suddenly remember him getting the Mod Squad part, my cousin Lainie got the second lead in Carousel and I got the Arthur Murray Hour gig; and then we all did other stuff by the time we were 21. Those were the days!!
