Just saw Noah. It was exactly the type science fiction that a biblically illiterate person with a bag of money would create. I know there are several new age, self-hating Christians which will say,Its just art and entertainment. I even read one review lambasting a Christian critique because,Who knows what happened anyway? Well, for all us backwards biblical literalists who are just too stupid to realize that these are just myths and fables, we believe there is an actual Creator who gave us an actual inspired book filled with His actual will for us. I believe Noahs story deserved a better telling. Filling in empty spaces is expected. Taking interpretive liberties? Also expected. Making Noah a murderous lunatic? Not so much. Completely deleting Ham and Japheths wives? Really? Inserting Tubal-Cain into the post launch Ark narrative? Cmon! I like a good story as much as the next person. But the last third of this movie was pretty frustrating for those who even kind of know the actual story.
