Just saw The Monuments Men at the theater, staring George Clooney and others... Its a good film, and asks the question, was saving art treasures worth the life of army men? It makes the case that great art was the possession of real people who had their lives ripped up and destroyed...and that if we dont make the effort to preserve great art and our treasures, then the war is pointless. I also wonder where Jack Kirby was during this movie, as there were several points where famous battles and locations were name dropped. All in all, it makes an important point and should be seen. and shared with younger generations.
