Just saw WYMT post that the Kentucky state police has a shortage in troopers. I have wanted to be a KSP trooper basically since I was about 18 or 19 years old and thought I would make a good one. Unfortunately the requirements are either two years of military, law enforcement , or college, all which I dont have. The situation and choices that I made during my younger years simply made it hard to obtain. It would be cool to see them allow candidates to challenge their written , physical, mental, or whatever test would be needed to enter the acadmey. Hate to hear about a shortage though , it takes a special breed to wear that badge.
