Just saw X-Men: Days of Future Past. Mediocre movie in my opinion. Decent script, but once again it really fell short of being an actual X-Men movie. Once again Hugh Jackmans Wolverine was a hog on screen time. Cyclops is supposed to be the leader of the X-Men, and yet not in any of the movies thus far has Cyclops appeared to be the leader. He has been continually relegated to an ultra-limited role. The good that came out of this movie was the fact that it took all of the previous X-Men films and canceled out their progression. X-Men: Days of Future Past opts to reboot the franchise from ground zero. A proper X-Men film, in my opinion, will give Professor X and Magneto the most screen time, whilst featuring a whole lot more X-Men characters. I want to see Colossus, Nightcrawler, Jubilee, Shadowcat, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Archangel, Beast, Gambit, Storm, Wolverine, Rogue and all the characters that defined the X-Men in the 1990s. I want to see them all together.
