Just saw a NASA scientist being interviewed on the NewHour regarding studies of melting ice and tundra at the north pole, release of methane into the atmosphere and the recent appearance of a giant sink hole in Siberia which is likely caused by some combination of these factors. Asked at the end of the interview what people should make of this information, his response was that we should just really enjoy the way that science is now able to predict how our climate is changing.
