Just saw some Amish people in Union station, and it reminded me of a time when I jumped on the bus to go home and walked to the back of the bus which was filled with a group of Amish people, all except for one seat which I sat in. As we all sat there silently, we looked at each other with mutually open faces, sort of beaming at each other... There was such a sense of innocence and loving reflection! Then one of the women said to me with a big smile, Do you feel surrounded? :D I laughed and said, yes I do! And giggles rippled through all of us... Earlier that night Id read this African proverb for the first time: If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together. :))
