Just sent a $50 scholarship to a teenage girl in rural Kenya so she can go to school this year. I also sent along this note: "Education is power. If you wish to feel powerful stay in school as long as you can. All women in the world have the natural right to be educated. We must protect this right in order to see peace and stability in our society." I feel very lucky to have been born in the United States where my right to be educated is protected.
